From 17th to 19th of January, I participated at the 2nd edition of the National Cyber Security Congress organized by Securinets in Sousse, Tunisia.
All the talks were presented by tunisian members of the security community.
The first day, the talks were focused on the national strategy of CyberSecurity, the maturity level of the infosec community in Tunisia and I personally gave a short speech encouraging Women to join Cyber Security field.
During the second day, the conferences and workshops took place. Most of the conferences were an opportunity to learn about the new trends on the cybersecurity like “New Cybersecurity approaches to counter evolving threats”, “Threat Intelligence 101” and “Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security”.
In the other hand, the workshops were more training oriented and their topics were an opportunity to learn and share knowledge like “Android Pentest”, “Firmware Analysis”, “Introduction to SecDevOps”, “Penetration Testing”, “Introduction to Reverse Engineering” and “Introduction to Security Thinking”.
During the morning, I had a solo workshop about “Threat Intelligence” (I attached my slides in the end of the this article).
One special workshop was hold on the afternoon entitled “Hack My Castle: Red team/Blue team wargames”
The event wasn’t only dedicated to Cyber Security, since multiple soft skills activities were present during the program which create a friendly atmosphere.
Thank you Securinets for the invitation and looking forward to future events!
